I am a certified 300HR yoga instructor, with training in a style of yoga called Amrit Yoga that I completed through Bhakti House, affiliated with the widely renown Amrit Yoga Institute. Amrit Yoga is unique to other styles because it incorporates both the physical and mental aspects of practicing yoga. It poses benefits for the body, such as strength, flexibility, and pain/tension relief. It is also a meditative practice that assists in managing stress, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and more through stilling the mind and letting go of fear.
I am also trained in Yoga Nidra, which is a guided meditation that is practiced while lying on the ground. Yoga Nidra is also fantastic for managing the rather difficult parts of life mentioned above, as it decreases the production of cortisol (stress hormone) in your brain and increases hormones/neurotransmitters such as serotonin, dopamine, GABA, and more.
I tailor classes according to your specific needs and experience level. You tell me what you are looking for, and I will create a class that satisfies your wants and needs. I can incorporate sound healing, aromatherapy, Ayurveda, and other holistic healing modalities into sessions if you are interested.I also do corporate wellness, workshops, and kids yoga.
